Austin joined Stifel in 2012 after previously working for Raymond James for two years.  He graduated from Missouri Western State University in 2008, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics.  He also earned the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) certification in 2015 from the College for Financial Planning by completing coursework at Northwestern University's School of Professional Studies.  In doing so, he received training on the duties of good faith and standards of care, insurance reviews, tax strategies, as well as estate planning issues and retirement planning.

In 2019, Austin was named to Stifel's President's Council1, and in 2020 and 2021, he was named to Stifel's prestigious Chairman's Council2, which recognizes Stifel's top-producing financial advisors. In 2021, Austin was also named to Forbes' Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisors List. 

Austin takes the time to meet with his clients on a regular basis to review investments, update retirement plans, explain what they own and why they own it, and address any questions.

Austin and his wife, Laura, live in St. Joseph and have three children, Elliana, Dillon, and Beckham.  Austin enjoys meeting new people, spending time with family and friends, and attending and watching sporting events including golf, football, and baseball.
